Bowling

Today I took Eva and Micah bowling after our swim session at the hotel. (We are in Monterrey this weekend.)
Once we found the correctly weighted ball for Eva she could do it one handed. I must admit this made me gasp for a second as I realized she's growing up so incredibly fast. Also, she's swimming by herself and really doesn't need my help. She swam the length of the pool by herself! Micah does well in the pool too. His scare in the pool last year still eats at him I'm sure and therefore he's a little clingy but overall doing great!

Here are a few of the bowling pics from today.

The shoes....you gotta love the shoes. The kids were very excited about having their own pair. No socks is kind of nasty but it's hot and humid here and flip flops are the only option.

Now what? Micah lofted the ball, rolled the ball and kicked the ball down the alley. Why not? It's a ball after all.

Look at that form.

The Champ. Seriously, that ball was moving so so so slow.

More Eva form.

Such anticipation. He so badly wanted to knock all of them down.

This was a classic scene while bowling. The funny thing is as soon as Micah would bowl his ball, Eva would be looking for it. But seriously folks, it took probably a good 30 seconds for that ball to make it. So there Eva was impatiently waiting for the green ball but not realizing it was still heading towards the pins.

Loved the pictures and commentary, Andrew!
Brings back memories of when we took Eva & Micah 'glow' bowling this summer! It was only 5-pin though so the balls were a bit easier to handle & there were a few to choose from, not just one! ;)
Hope you are having another fun day with the kids!

Those are some great bowling shoes! Micah's bowling seems right on par with Kai's:)
