Weekend Report: A direct hit and an Iguana

Saturday afternoon we decided to take the kids to Peter Piper Pizza for some pizza and video games. How can you go wrong? The kids dominated the popcorn game. (they had to catch as many kernels as possible into the cooker) This game kept spitting out tickets and by the end of our time there they had accumulated enough to buy themselves each an airplane and dinosaur.
So after assembling the airplane I told Micah to aim at my camera and then throw it. That tosser totally nailed my lens from 10 yards. Here are the photos to prove it.

Left handed yet....

Direct hit....Good thing for a lens hood.

Today I was heading out to fire up the bbq and heard something scrambling around. I looked up to see this green lizard whipping past my head on the ledge by the back door. After my near heart attack I grabbed the camera and waited for him to come out from inside the ledge. He was very stealth.

Hopefully I'll get a good shot of this guy in our orange tree instead of the ledge with the black tubes etc. Good to know he's there and eating the bugs!
