Lucia is a Doula and Nurse and has a lot of experience. Dana spent time with her over the past few months and they formed a great bond. Lucia arrived first and was busy setting up the pool, the change station and coaching Dana all at the same time...

Dr. Lopez arrived soon after Lucia and quickly assessed baby's heart rate. Dr. Lopez speaks 100% fluent English which was really nice. More importantly he's a great Doctor who let Dana manage the situation. He was prepared to help but let Dana lead the birth. I'm sure that wasn't easy at times for him but we truly do appreciate his sensitivity.
Dr. Flores arrived when Dana was about to push. He quickly set up all his equipment and made sure everything was in order to receive little Joshua. Dr. Flores is a pediatrician and was great with Joshua.
