HDR Torreon.

Today was kind of overcast here in Torreon which is quite unusual. I was hoping to shoot a little this weekend but just wasn't feeling all that inspired. However, around 7pm tonight the clouds started to look really cool in the setting sun so I decided to head up to the giant Jesus statue to see what I could find. I've shot this place a lot so I thought I'd do some more HDR testing.
Here are the results. What do you think? Try to ignore the photomatix watermark. Once I decide to buy this program that will get removed.

Let me know if you like the HDR style or nah, not really.

A dust storm was coming in so the sky was pretty cool to begin with...The HDR kind of takes it over the top.

Jesus in front of the church and cell phone towers...nice.

Not sure of the significance of the horse...maybe it has something to do with Revelation?

Another shot of the cross...

Andrew....these are really great! great drama....they have the surreal feel while still being believable in the HDR....#1 really is a killer shot.
