This is my first attempt at HDR. HDR is when you take multiple photos of the same scene with different exposures. Then you merge them together to get a very well exposed photo. You like it?

Tunnels...

Houses were packed together...

The famous artis Diego Rivera was born in this home. It's a museum now with a limited collection of his work.

More Doors....

Some Windows...

Every street corner seems to have so much life...

The city used these old mining carts all over the city as decorations.

Every Friday and Saturday night a group of musicians walk the streets and sing with anyone who wants to join them. There are statues of different famous musicians scattered around the city.

The inside of the main church in Guanajuato.

There are all types of side streets like this one...

Great pictures, Andrew - so much strong colour and interest. Very nice!
Fabulous pics! Love the HDR one too!
Andrew, I love how you post info on the location, share photo techniques and show amazing pictures. I love reading each and every new post. Good stuff.
Nice work andrew.. looking forward to our time together in a few weeks to take some photos. For the HDR, did you use photomatix or just photoshop? Did you think of doing HDR for the church at all?
-Hey You Guys....
Baby Ruth?....I used photomatix. I used their trial version and tried to clone out their watermark...if you look closely I did a terrible job. I'm going to buy it when I get my mac next week.
HDR would have been great in the church but I didn't have my tripod at that time.
I'm looking foward to shooting with you too...any ideas on locations?
sloth love chunk
not sure on locations... van city or if we really wanted a long day we could ferry/bus to victoria. In the process of upgrading to a 40d for lousie and selling the 20d. If you want to shoot studio then come on by and get some shots with the family.
