Pool Jumping...Kind of like the old cartoons.

Dana made a funny note when we were looking at these photos. Remember the old cartoons where the character (insert your favorite cartoon character here) would climb up the ladder to the top of the diving board and then fall 10 stories into the tiny pool at the bottom. Well, this is kind of what happened in the backyard today.

On the technical side of shooting. I've been experimenting more with my flash lately. I was trying to freeze motion while closing down the aperture to darken the sky etc. So these shots were taken at 250sec at f18 or there abouts. (I guess I should clarify the word "technical" and me don't really belong in the same sentence...I just do things until I think it works.) These aren't perfect but I'm learning.

I love the pose....9.8 out of 10


Micah was more of a straight jumper...not too much on the creativity front. I give him 7 out of 10. The Russian Judge was not as kind.
