Not sure what exactly Micah was looking for but it reminds me of the countless hours my brother and I would search for orange hockey balls in the hedge at Mom and Dad's house.
Micah and Eva were checking out an Ant carrying a Bee carcass.(Please note the freshly paved streets in our sub division. So sweet.)
Okay, so now on to my flash experiment. I got on the trampoline with the kids and in one hand held my camera and in my other hand a large white piece of cardboard. I was trying to reflect the light of my flash off of the reflector. The results were kind of terrible....however, I do like this image. In any case, I have to dominate my flash and at this point it dominates me. I'll keep trying. For those of you who are into photograpy and want a good website about strobes etc. check out the strobist.

do you have a cheap pair of radio triggers yet? $30 investment can get that flash off your camera and into your hand....then you can write your post as camera in one hand and flash in the other....which doesn't solve the diffusion...but outside it can kinda work....and for $100 more you could get a stand / umbrella and mount for that flash....then you can start having fun.

I don't have any radio triggers. This summer I want to purchase another flash and some pocket wizards. There is only so much you can do with on camera flash. I also hope to get a couple of smallish soft boxes.
So sweet pictures of kids!! Love those cute flip flops...
