Okay, so yesterday we decided to go to the circus. It was kids day here yesterday in Mexico. First of all it was hot. I think 42 yesterday. Secondly, the rides were from the 70's....hand me downs are okay for kids clothing....amusement park rides not so much. So we went to the big tent to watch the circus which didn't start for another 45mins. It was kind of nice to get out of the sun. (Sorry to Winnipeg readers who had snow again) They had a Lion act and so we went to their cage before the act started to take a photog. Eva then said when I get a lion I'm going to name him, Aslan or Mufasa or Kovu or Simba but not Scar. After 45 minutes our seats that we had so patiently reserved were relatively useless. People just walked in front of us and stood there. It was very uncomfortable and even hotter. I yelled a 10 year old to move out of my way (I'm classy) and 3 minutes into the act (After the scantily clad ladies finished there dance....gong) Eva wanted to go. Judging from the picture I posted on the preview can you blame her? I love Mexico but this tent seemed like an accident waiting to happen. I took one picture from the top of the bleachers...summiting the bleachers was a frightening experience. By the start of the show I'm sure they were maxed out on the weight limit. So we bolted and went on 2 rides and then decided to get tacos. Usually you can count on the food here in Mexico...However, the food at "Uncle Taco" just didn't do it. It must have been our bad moods. With all this said, it was an experience.
Here are a few pics.

30 minutes before show time...

5 mins after show time...

This guy was good.

Micah was content....he was counting all the balloons that had floated to the top of the tent while stuffing his face with popcorn...Dana was consoling Eva who wanted to buy a glass dolphin from a vendor. The lady actually said to Dana that if you don't buy it Eva will cry and then she dangled them in Eva's face...twice...terrible...I thought my Mamacita was going to throw it down...she didn't.

It truly is all worth it when you get smiles like this...

Here's Micah doing the teeth and then feeling them and then laughing...

Kudos on the wordy blog, Husband.
Another thing worthy of mention was getting to see a 7 day old lion cub!
