Yesterday I was blowing up balloons and then letting them go so that they would fly around the room. As nerdy as this sounds it was quite entertaining. I wasn't doing this by myself but the next time we are at Nerdfest this could be a good time killer for us while Jen deals the next hand of Daft....Back to the story..The kids sat in the chair and I aimed the balloon at them. After multiple attempts Eva finally caught the balloon. Pretty impressive considering that thing is moving VERY fast. What wasn't all that impressive was my need to shoot 200 frames and only get a couple sharp images. Oh well, I'll just blame my camera. :)
(For camera enthusiasts... I'm thinking about switching to NIKON.)

Side Note: I've been telling Eva and Micah that when they play with a ball that it's like gold and you have to fight for it. The other day I heard Eva talking to "Bud" that you have to fight for the ball, it's gold you know.

Very fun shots. And yes, a great way to waste time (I'm a very fast Daft dealer, by the way, not that I ever lose) when we're waiting for Andrey to get his cards organized just after he's picked up a mitt-full. Now THAT takes a while. Yaaaaawwwwnnn.
